VIESHOW CINEMAS is a leading brand of cinemas in Taiwan. It has more than ten high-quality cinemas in the north, central and south. It has successively introduced IMAX, 4DX and other playback technologies to provide high-quality viewing standards.
Vieshow Cinemas has two new cinemas that are going to open at the same time, and the client hopes to hold a lottery on the Internet to drive the popularity of the new cinemas. Vieshow Cinemas FUN SQUARE network integrated marketing campaign project was implemented in the third quarter of 2011 and launched at the end of 2011. The campaign lasted for one month.
With almost no advertising, the promotion of Vieshow Cinemas official website and fan group attracted more than 100,000 people to visit and participate in the event.
Concept of Design
In "FUN SQUARE", a Pixel Art pixel-style square, let's turn into Pixel-style movie characters together, let's make a big fuss~
How to attract more people to participate in many online activities?
The creative team designed a "FUN SQUARE" online event, which is a lottery event website, but can be combined with 8 different platforms distributed on the desktop version website, iOS or Android smartphones, iOS tablets...etc. This small tool allows you to have fun together no matter you shake it, blow it, or touch it! It also allows more people to participate in the game together, help Vieshow Cinemas cheer up, and win prizes.
The overall design style is Pixel Art. All the characters, scenes, and buildings are drawn by small pixels. Just looking at this exquisite scene makes people want to play~
Even the sound effects used on the event website or APP are all 8bit specifications, in Pixel Art style~
For iOS or Android APP, the design team develops it with official development tools to ensure the excellent performance of the system. The desktop version of the event's main website was developed using Flash technology.

Users can choose the movie character they want to be from dozens of styles, log in through their Facebook account, and users can also see other users on the square.
